Hi, I’m Chase Strawser! I’m a dedicated sports broadcaster, writer, and communications professional. Originally from Germantown, Maryland, I grew up a fan of every sport from Football and Basketball to Lacrosse and Swimming.
I graduated Cum Laude from Elon University with a B.S. in Sport Management and a B.A. in Journalism, along with minors in Leadership Studies and Professional Writing Studies. Currently, I’m pursuing a Master of Science in Applied Leadership at Campbell University, concentrating in Data Analytics and Decision Making. Alongside my graduate studies, I serve as an Athletics Communications Graduate Assistant, acting as the primary media contact for Campbell’s Cross Country, Wrestling, and Softball programs.
My professional journey spans collegiate athletics, professional soccer, and international lacrosse. I’ve produced and published digital content for World Lacrosse, served as a play-by-play broadcaster on WLTV, and supported fan engagement with the North Carolina Courage. At Elon, I co-founded and served as Co-Executive Director of Rising Phoenix, while also providing live play-by-play and sideline reporting across multiple sports for Elon Sports Vision, FloSports, and WSOE 89.3.
Whether I’m behind the mic, creating multimedia content, or managing operations, my goal is to build a career by telling stories, elevating athletes, and enhancing the sports experience.
