Hi, I’m Chase Strawser! I’m a sports media and communications professional with more than five years of experience across collegiate athletics, professional sports, and international events. Originally from Germantown, Maryland, I’m currently based in Raleigh, North Carolina.
I currently work as an Assistant Director of Athletic Communications at Meredith College while continuing to serve as an Athletic Communications Graduate Assistant at Campbell, where I am the primary media contact for Cross Country, Wrestling and Softball. Across both roles, I manage media relations, game-day operations, content production, digital communications and external communications.
My professional experience also includes serving as the Sport Statistics and Information Coordinator for the Carolina Blaze during the inaugural Athletes Unlimited Softball League season in Durham. In addition, I have completed internships with World Lacrosse and USA Lacrosse. I've even worked in fan experience and game presentation with the North Carolina Courage of the.
My broadcasting experience spans a variety of sports. I’ve called more than 250 collegiate events, including the 2025 Pan-American Women’s Lacrosse Championship for World Lacrosse TV, the 2025 CAA Men’s Soccer Tournament on FloSports, and the 2026 USA South Women’s Lacrosse Tournament. I currently work as a freelance broadcaster for programs such as Davidson College and Longwood University.
I graduated Cum Laude from Elon University with a B.S. in Sport Management and a B.A. in Journalism, along with minors in Leadership Studies and Professional Writing Studies. I’m currently pursuing a Master of Science in Applied Leadership at Campbell University, concentrating in Data Analytics and Decision Making.
